Question regarding admin account

I just installed Flatnuke on my server. Unfortunately my Italian is pretty bad (to say non-existant), and I simply overlooked the fact that the folders /news and forum/users and forum/topics did not exist. I created them after I got the first PHP error messages.

The readme says that the first account created will be an admin account. Whenever I try to create an account, all I get is a normal user account.

Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Has this something to do with the fact that I create the above mentioned folders too late?

Thanks.

Re: Question regarding admin account

OK, I think I solved the issue.

I simply had a look at the forum/users folder and found a file named [myusername].php.

I changed the value "0" to "10", and uploaded it again. Now I have admin privileges.

Well, the problem is on the archive extractor you used: winzip (and all its brothers) can't work with some kind of files/directories, and you didn't find them.

I changed the value "0" to "10", and uploaded it again. Now I have admin privileges.

Due to the problem described before, your first user-profile was not created with right administrative permissions: you changed it correctly; you should also check that the file /misc/firstinstall doesn't exist anymore.
